Pro-Russian authorities in Donetsk on Thursday denounced «the most massive attack» by Ukraine since the outbreak of the conflict in the Donbas in 2014, an incident that has resulted in at least five injuries, including a child.
The mayor of the city, Alexei Kulezmin, has indicated in a series of messages on his Telegram account that «Ukrainian fascists have committed another war crime» and added that among the hit places there are residential, educational and medical buildings.
Kulezmin has detailed that among the wounded there are a ten-year-old boy, a man and four women. «Try not to go out on the street unless absolutely necessary. Be careful, take care of yourselves and your families,» the mayor of Donetsk said.
Russia announced in September the annexation of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporiyia, all partially occupied after the invasion, unleashed on February 24 on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The decision was rejected by Kiev and the international community.
