At least three people have died and two people have been reported missing after an armed attack in the Mexican community of San Pedro Atoyac, in the southern state of Oaxaca.
Among the deceased, who were part of the same family, are two minors. The two missing persons are also two children, local authorities told the Reforma news agency.
The Mexican police detailed that the multiple attack was perpetrated with firearms and bladed weapons, and detailed that so far the whereabouts of the missing children and the identity of the attackers are not known.
It also informed that a security operation has been deployed with the participation of elements of the National Guard and the Mexican Army, who have started the search.
