
The Ukrainian Army on Wednesday put the number of Russian servicemen «liquidated» since the beginning of the invasion, unleashed on February 24 on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who in September announced the annexation of four partially occupied regions, at around 100,000.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated on its account on the social network Facebook that «about 99,740» Russian soldiers have been killed in combat, including 510 during the last 24 hours, while highlighting that 3,002 battle tanks, 1,972 artillery systems and 212 anti-aircraft systems have also been destroyed.
He also stressed that 282 airplanes, 267 helicopters, 1,688 drones, 653 cruise missiles, 16 ships, 4,608 vehicles and fuel tanks and 178 pieces of «special equipment» have been destroyed. «Data is being updated. Beat the occupier. Let’s win together. Our strength is in the truth,» he concluded.
