French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday condemned the shooting attack on the Ahmet Kaya Kurdish cultural center in central Paris, which has left three dead and three wounded.
«The Kurds of France have been the target of a hateful attack in the heart of Paris,» the French president lamented in a message posted on his Twitter account.
Macron has dedicated his condolences to the families and relatives of the dead victims, and conveyed his encouragement to the three wounded, one of them in critical condition, as a result of the attack.
The suspect in the attack has been identified as a 69-year-old man, a former railway employee, with a history of racist violence.
