Thousands of Twitter users have complained in the early hours of Thursday morning about failures that the platform is suffering and that are blocking access to the social network or making it difficult to use some of its key functions.
More than 15,000 people have reported problems accessing Twitter on the DownDetector website — where a multitude of users report access problems on platforms all over the Internet — making this one of the social network’s outages since the acquisition by tycoon Elon Musk.
Among the failures are the impossibility of accessing the social network from the computer or the difficulty of loading some tweets, according to some users on the social network.
However, the owner of Twitter has assured that «if it works for him» in response to a user’s question, without commenting further on the matter.
This is one of the most important interruptions that Twitter suffers since almost two months ago fired more than half of the employees after the purchase of the social network by billionaire Elon Musk.
Since the massive layoff carried out in early November, Twitter has suffered a multitude of errors in its operation, a fact whose cause could be in the lack of workers performing maintenance tasks.
