The EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, has warned that «there will be no impunity for war crimes» committed by Russia over Ukraine, which on Thursday has again suffered a new wave of «senseless» massive attacks.
Borrell has accused Russian forces on Twitter of «indiscriminate destruction of infrastructure and medical facilities» as well as «deliberate» targeting of civilians. «Our support for Ukraine will continue, without truce,» he added.
The head of European diplomacy has thus responded to the launching of more than a hundred missiles against different regions of Ukraine, including the capital, Kiev. Once again, this offensive has caused cuts in key supplies such as electricity.
