At least one minor has been killed and another injured after both were shot while at a sports club in the town of Chilpancingo, in the southwestern Mexican state of Guerrero.
According to witnesses present at the incident, a group of armed men entered a billiards establishment shortly after the minor, who was selling some sweets, had done so.
The gunmen opened fire, killing the 14-year-old girl and wounding another young man, who was found with vital signs when emergency services arrived and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Following the incident, the pool hall has been cordoned off and guarded by the Mexican Police. According to the latest report, no one has yet been arrested for the incident, according to the agency.
The Municipal Security and Citizen Protection Secretariat has indicated that the venue, which is intended for people over 18 years of age, will be closed for allowing minors to enter.
