Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is visiting Brasilia, which was the scene this Sunday of an assault on institutions by hundreds of Bolsonaro supporters.
Lula has visited the Planalto Palace, seat of the Federal Government, as well as the Supreme Court, where he met with the president of the Supreme Court, Rosa Weber, and several ministers.
The president’s visit was used to analyze the destruction of the offices of the authorities, since the supporters of the former leader would have broken part of the assets, according to the Brazilian television channel O Globo.
Several of Lula’s ministers, such as the Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, and the Minister of Defense, José Mucio Monteiro, are meeting with the Army in Brasilia to discuss the situation after the assault.
