Russian authorities reported Wednesday that more than 120 Ukrainian servicemen have been killed over the past day in fighting in the Donetsk region in the east of the country, where Russian forces continue to advance in an attempt to seize the entire territory.
«Enemy weapons and military equipment, including two battle tanks and two self-propelled artillery transport vehicles, have been destroyed,» local authorities said in a statement carried by the TASS news agency.
In addition, a dozen armored vehicles have been destroyed after the Ukrainian Army shelled three areas of Donetsk, where at least one person was killed and eleven wounded.
