The Kremlin said Thursday that both Russia and the country’s President Vladimir Putin pose «a big problem» for Ukraine and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who on Wednesday questioned whether his Russian counterpart was alive during his speech to the Davos Economic Forum.
«It is clear that Russia and Putin are a big problem for Ukraine and Zelenski. It is clear that, from a purely psychological point of view, Zelensky would prefer that neither Russia nor Putin existed,» Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
On the other hand, he reiterated that Ukraine should accept Russia’s demands to put an end «as soon as possible» to the war, which was unleashed on February 24, 2022 on Putin’s orders, according to the Russian news agency TASS.
