Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, has accused the United States of having crossed «even more the red line» by sending Abrams tanks to Ukraine to be used in Russia’s counter-offensive in the country….) is now crossing the red line even further,» said North Korea’s de facto ‘number two’, asserting that Washington is making «clearer» its confrontational stance against Russia, as reported by KCNA.
«Behind this lies the sinister intention of the U.S. to realize its hegemonic goal by further expanding the proxy war to destroy Russia. The world would be brighter, safer and calmer now if it were not for the U.S.,» the sister of the North Korean leader remarked.
According to Kim Yo Jong, the U.S. poses «a serious threat» and challenge to Russia’s strategic security and pushes the regional situation to the «current grave phase.»
She blamed the West for ruining world peace and regional security with the delivery of military equipment to Ukraine, for which reason they would have «neither right nor justification to slander the exercise of the right to self-defense by sovereign states.»
«The Ukrainian battlefield is by no means a desert in the Middle East where U.S. tanks rampaged 20 years ago,» the vice-chairwoman of the North Korean Workers’ Party Central Committee added, maintaining that she has «no doubt» that any military hardware given to Ukraine «will burn to pieces in the face of Russia’s indomitable fighting spirit.»
«No matter how desperately the imperialist allied forces try, they will never weaken the heroic resistance of the Russian army and people with great patriotism, stubbornness and strong mental power,» he has added, according to the aforementioned agency.
