MADRID, 28 The Wagner mercenary group has communicated this Sunday the seizure of Blagadatnoye, an urban settlement in Donetsk near Soledar, Ukraine, through its Telegram channel.
Yevgeni Prigozhin, a Russian oligarch sympathetic to the country’s President Vladimir Putin and founder of the Wagner Group, said that the commander of the assault unit has managed to seize control of the Blagadatnoye locality.
«The village of Blagodatnoye in the Donetsk region near Soledar came under the control of Russian forces,» Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said.
The announcement on Telegram is accompanied by an audio recording of the words of the commander of the assault unit, which, according to Prigozhin, has left on the southern outskirts of Blagodatnoye.
