British military intelligence estimates that the respected Russian General Mikhail Teplinsky has returned to the front line of operations in the invasion of Ukraine, from which he had been »withdrawn» in January this year.
Teplinsky is the commander of Russia’s airborne troop corps, the VDV, but »is very likely to turn the corps into an elite force,» London anticipates, particularly in operations in eastern Ukraine.
Indeed, the British Ministry of Defense considers that the VDV has »resumed key missions» in the fighting for control of the strategic city of Bajmut.
London believes that one of Teplinski’s first orders in this regard will consist in integrating these forces with the use of »TOS-1A thermobaric rocket launchers in the Kremina sector», according to the statement published this Sunday by the Ministry on its Twitter account.
