The street artist Banksy has confirmed the authorship of a graffiti made in Borodianka, Ukraine, in a building destroyed by the war in which a girl gymnast appears in full exercise of balance on rubble rubble. Borodianka was punished by Russian shelling at the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The town, located west of Kiev, was recaptured by Ukrainian military forces in April, when mass graves with bodies of tortured civilians were discovered.
