Former U.S. President Donald Trump has said that after a »calamitous and failed» presidency it is »almost inconceivable» that his successor, Joe Biden, wants to continue another four years in the White House, so he has asked for the support of citizens to address the current challenges of the United States and even »prevent World War III».
For Trump, who has released a statement before Biden’s formal announcement of his candidacy for re-election, the Democratic leader is »the most corrupt president» in the history of the United States. »You could put together the five worst presidents (…) and they would not have caused as much damage as Joe Biden to our nation,» he said.
The New York magnate, who promises to be »the worst nightmare of the radical Democrats», has assured that »there has never been a greater contrast between two successive administrations», with an allusion to the »greatness» that is attributed to and criticizes the alleged »failure» of Biden.
Trump spares no criticism, ranging from the »socialist calamity in spending» to the »immigration invasion», through the »indoctrination» of children or an alleged increase in crime, and resorts again to the conspiracy about electoral fraud, of which there is no proof. Thus, he has appealed to his followers to remember »what happened in the past elections», accusing the Democrats of »manipulating».
In the international arena, Trump considers that Biden has »humiliated» the United States: by the »disaster» that was the military withdrawal from Afghanistan, the risk that Iran is »days away» from having a nuclear weapon or the alliance between Russia and China. Biden has brought us to the brink of World War III», he denounced in his note.
Trump, the first former president to be criminally charged in the history of the United States — for bribing a porn actress in the days leading up to the 2016 election — has confirmed that he intends to be the Republican candidate again in 2024 and has not hesitated to mock Biden in his last public acts, imitating him even to ironize about his age.
