Mutua Madrid Open Final
Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek and Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka will meet in the final of the Mutua Madrid Open, of WTA 1,000 category, after beating Russian Veronika Kudermetova (6-1, 6-1) and Greek Maria Sakkari (6-4, 6-1) in the semifinals on Thursday.
Repeating the Stuttgart final
The world number one and number two will serve up a stellar final in the Caja Mágica on Saturday. The two met two weeks ago in the Stuttgart final, with victory for the Pole, who took a 5-2 lead in head-to-head duels, with the 13th title of her career and second of 2023 after Doha.
Swiatek derrotó a Kudermetova
After midnight, Swiatek sealed her place in the final at the expense of Kudermetova, whom she had already beaten this year in Doha.
Intractable
The Pole went over the Russian, aggressive in the rest to make the initial 6-1. The script was the same in the second act, with an unbeatable number one in the Manolo Santana.
