The President of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez, thanked the messages of support received after his admission to a hospital in Bali (Indonesia) in the middle of the G20 summit and assured that he is already «in full recovery, following the medical care and controls».

«I am deeply grateful for the messages of encouragement and concern for the health episode I suffered in Bali. I am sincerely touched by them,» Fernández posted on his Twitter account, a day after suffering an episode of gastritis with hemorrhage.

The Argentine Presidency clarified shortly afterwards that the President was in good condition and, in fact, within hours he returned to the complex hosting the meeting of international leaders to continue with his agenda of meetings.

Fernandez has extended his thanks to the medical team of his office and the staff who attended him at the Sanglah Hospital in Bali. «My gratitude for their courtesy and affection,» stressed the 63-year-old president.
