Ukrainian authorities have accused Russia of launching a new overnight offensive against a gas station in the city of Dnipro (center-east) as a result of which, so far, two people have been confirmed dead.

The mayor of the city, Boris Filatov, has informed that one of the victims died inside his vehicle, while another one lost his life in the car wash of the gas station, according to UNIAN agency.

The news of the night bombing was also confirmed by the Ukrainian Presidential Office. For its part, the government of the Dnipropetrovsk region has put the number of wounded people at three, although it has stressed that these are still preliminary data.

The regional governor, Valentin Reznichenko, informed that the Russian troops have also attacked with heavy artillery and kamikaze drones the localities of Nikopolska, Marganetska and Mirivska, according to Ukrinform.

TWO KILLED IN KHERSON Earlier, Ukrainian authorities in the region of Kherson, recently annexed by Russia, reported the death of two civilians when the vehicle in which they were traveling was hit by a missile fired by the Russian Armed Forces.

The mayor of Olesok, Yevhen Rischuk, has detailed on Facebook what happened, pointing out that one of the victims lost his life on the spot and the other died in hospital. He also reported that a five-year-old girl was found wounded at the scene.
