The Ukrainian Armed Forces claimed Monday to have killed about 600 Russian servicemen in fighting over the past day, bringing the total number of Russian soldiers killed since the start of the offensive to about 88,000, according to Kiev data.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated in a message on its Facebook social network account that some 590 Russian servicemen have been «liquidated» over the past day, bringing the total to «around 87,900».
He also highlighted that since the beginning of the invasion, 2,908 tanks, 1,899 artillery systems, 209 anti-aircraft defense systems and 395 self-propelled and armored multiple rocket launchers have been destroyed.
He also said that 278 aircraft, 261 helicopters, 1,555 drones, 531 cruise missiles, 16 ships, 4,416 vehicles and fuel tanks and 163 pieces of special equipment have also been destroyed.
«The data is being updated. Beat the occupier. Let’s win together. Our strength is in the truth,» the Ukrainian Army General Staff has noted, against the background of recent Ukrainian advances in areas of the Kherson and Kharkov regions.
