Four people were shot dead in the northern Honduran city of San Pedro Sula during a shooting incident in the suburb of Chamelecón at around 6:00 p.m. local time, close to the local police headquarters.

In Honduras between 10 and 13 murders are registered daily, according to official sources quoted by the same newspaper, data that the authorities attribute to organized crime groups, drug trafficking and gangs.
This country has registered 39 multiple murders so far this year, that is, where more than three people have lost their lives, although there have been a total of 1,592 violent deaths since January, according to official figures.
