About ten people were injured Tuesday in an explosion at a market in the Afghan city of Jalalabad, the provincial capital of Afghanistan (east).
Witnesses quoted by the Afghan news agency Pajhwok said that nine people were injured in the incident, which took place in a foreign exchange market in the city.
Sources in the provincial Information Department confirmed the incident, without giving further details. It is not known at this time whether it was a bomb attack.
The incident took place hours after at least eight people were killed and ten injured after a car bomb exploded in the Afghan city of Mazar-e Sharif, located in the province of Balj (north), with no claim of responsibility so far.
