The far-right candidate for the Presidency of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro (50.3 percent), has prevailed over his left-wing rival, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (49.7 percent), according to official results corresponding to 50.92 percent of the vote count.
These data disclosed by the Superior Electoral Court on its web page are provisional for the moment and could change as the recount progresses, as already happened in the first round, held last October 2.
Then Bolsonaro appeared as the most voted option until well into the count, although in the end it was Lula who won more support, although not enough to achieve a direct victory in the first round.
