Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has questioned the explanation provided by the Iranian regime on Saturday that it sent a «limited» number of drones to Russia before the outbreak of the war and claims that its troops reduce ten Iranian drones per day.
«There have been messages from Iran from official representatives. They have decided to admit that they supplied drones for Russian terror, but even in this confession they lied. We shot down at least ten Iranian drones every day, and the Iranian regime claims that it allegedly gave little and even before the beginning of the full-scale invasion,» he has denounced this Saturday in his daily address.
The president detailed that 11 Shahed drones, manufactured in this country, were destroyed on Friday. In addition, he assured that «they know with certainty» that Iranian instructors taught the Russian teams to use the devices and criticized Tehran’s silence on the matter.
«If Iran continues to lie about the obvious, it means that the world will make even more efforts to investigate the terrorist cooperation between the Russian and Iranian regimes and what Russia pays Iran for such cooperation. None of the terrorists or their accomplices will go unpunished,» he said in his speech.
Regarding the development of the conflict, Zelensky admitted that the front line has not undergone major changes and that the greatest brutality in the conflicts on the part of the Russian side has been registered in the Donetsk region.
