Former US President Donald Trump has once again lashed out at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, calling her an «animal» after she used the same term to refer to a Mara Salvatrucha gang member convicted of murder.
«To tell you the truth, I think she is also an animal,» Trump said during his speech at a rally in Ohio in support of Republican candidates on the eve of the midterm elections taking place this Tuesday.
Aware perhaps of the repercussion that these words could have, Trump himself has pointed out that many hearing how he has referred to Pelosi may think «what a horrible thing», but has justified that they are motivated by what she has allegedly done against the Republicans.
«I will never use the word bullshit again. But it’s what she did to us in this country,» said Trump, who as he has done on other occasions has also referred to the speaker of the House as «crazy Pelosi.»
In that same meeting in Ohio, Trump has advanced that next November 15 will give from his lavish Mar-a-Lago mansion a «big announcement», which could be the prelude to what he has long been hinting that he will present his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election.
