
Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán convened the Defense Council on Tuesday after Polish media reported that two missiles hit the city of Przewodow, just eight kilometers from Ukraine.
«In response to the cessation of oil transfer through the Druzhba pipeline and the missile impact on the territory of Poland, Viktor Orbán has convened the Hungarian Defense Council at 20.00 (local time),» government spokesman Zoltan Kovavs reported on his Twitter profile.
Polish media have reported the death of two people in the town of Przewodow after the impact of two possible stray missiles. Police officers, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Polish Army have been dispatched to the scene.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has convened an extraordinary meeting of the National Security and Defense Committee of the Council of Ministers, according to government spokesman Piotr Muller on Twitter.
