
UK authorities confirmed Tuesday that they are in «close contact» with Poland and allies after two people were killed in the town of Przewodow, near the Ukrainian border, by the possible impact of two missiles.
«We are investigating these reports and working closely with the allies,» a spokesman for the UK Foreign Office told the US television network CNN.
Polish media have reported the death of two people in the town of Przewodow following the impact of two possible stray missiles. Police officers, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Polish Army have been dispatched to the scene.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has convened an extraordinary meeting of the National Security and Defense Committee of the Council of Ministers, according to government spokesman Piotr Muller on Twitter.
