Ivanka Trump, daughter and former advisor to former U.S. President Donald Trump, has ruled out getting involved in politics again just on the day her father announced a new candidacy for the 2024 presidential elections.

«I love my father very much, but this time I choose to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to get involved in politics,» Ivanka told the microphones of the US network Fox.

However, Trump’s second eldest daughter has insisted that, despite her announcement, she will always be on her father’s side, although she will now defend him from «outside the political scene.» «I will always love and support my father,» she remarked.

During her time as presidential advisor, Ivanka focused on «education and economic empowerment of women and their families, as well as job creation and economic growth through workforce development, training and entrepreneurship,» according to the White House.

These statements by Ivanka come on the same day in which her father has presented himself again as a candidate to represent the Republicans in the 2024 presidential elections with the intention of «making America great and glorious again».
