Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky assured on Saturday that getting the energy supply back on track after the various Russian attacks on the infrastructure remains one of the top priorities for the country.

«We are working throughout the country to stabilize the situation,» he has maintained during a speech. «Most of the problems with electricity are in and around Kiev, Odessa and its surroundings, Kharkov and its surroundings.»

He has also noted that everything is being done to help citizens «have a normal life», but admitted that about half of the country’s energy infrastructure has been destroyed.

In addition, this Saturday the Ukrainian General Staff has transferred that part of the population of Lugansk has had to be relocated because of the need to relocate many soldiers, due to the increased presence of Russian troops in the region, as reported by DPA.
