At least eleven people died Monday after a fire broke out in a factory in the eastern Chinese city of Jinhua, Zhejiang Prefecture.
As reported by the Xinhua news agency, the victims were trapped on the third floor of the building, which is located in an industrial area.
The death toll was confirmed early Tuesday morning, after several rounds of search and rescue work, as reported by the agency.
The country’s authorities are investigating the causes of the incident.
