
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday that all activities of the partial military mobilization and delivery of summonses to fight on the front line in the conflict against Ukraine have been stopped.
«All activities related to the recruitment of reservists for military service by military enlistment offices and regional governments have been suspended. The preparation and issuance of military summonses are now suspended,» the department has moved, Russian TASS agency reports.
It also said that the reports on the partial mobilization were to be submitted by Tuesday and instructions had been sent to the commanders of troops in the various military districts.
The Ministry has indicated that the isolation offices will from now on only recruit volunteers and hire servicemen for the armed forces displaced in the war. They have also detailed that the buildings used for the partial mobilization will be restored to their previous uses.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu told President Vladimir Putin on October 28 that the partial mobilization, which had begun on September 21, had been completed. Shoigu said that a total of 300,000 people had been called up and that no further targets were planned as part of the partial mobilization.
