A group of Ukrainian experts has already accessed the site in Poland where a projectile hit on Tuesday, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dimitro Kuleba, who blamed the incident on «missile terror» perpetrated by the Russian Armed Forces.

«Ukrainian experts are already working at the site of the tragedy in Przewodow,» said the minister, «grateful» for the readiness of the Polish authorities, who have so far refused to cooperate in the same way with those of Russia.

«We will continue our cooperation in an open and constructive manner, as good friends do,» Kuleba added on Twitter, a day after speaking on the phone with his Polish counterpart, Zbigniew Rau, precisely to strengthen ties.

Ukraine’s top leaders, including President Volodimir Zelenski, attributed the incident to a Russian missile, although Zelenski himself acknowledged Thursday at a forum that no one is «one hundred percent» sure of the circumstances of the incident, which resulted in two fatalities at a farm.

Warsaw has ruled out questioning NATO over this case, which it sees as part of an escalation of tensions for which it blames Moscow alone. Both the Polish government and the Atlantic Alliance assume that it was accidental and are inclined to the theory that the fallen projectile came from Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense systems.
