Eight people lost their lives early last night in two violent incidents in the Mexican city of Acapulco, in the southwest of the country.
The State Attorney General’s Office has reported five dead in a bar in the city after an individual burst into the bar at 4:50 am. The alleged assailant has been arrested in possession of a weapon for the exclusive use of the Army.
Two hours later, at around 7 a.m., an armed group killed three workers at a chicken farm.
From Friday to Sunday a total of ten murders have been counted in the state of Guerrero with women, politicians, military and, above all, young people among the victims.
