Prince Harry, fifth in line to the British throne, has denounced the «foul play» he and his wife, Meghan Markle, have allegedly been victims of at the hands of the Royal Household, from which both have distanced themselves in recent years.
The Duke of Sussex, who already gave a controversial interview to Oprah Winfrey after resigning part of his royal responsibilities and moving to the United States, now speaks in a documentary on the Netflix platform to ensure that only they know «the whole truth» of what they have lived in this time.
«There are leaks, but there are also made-up stories,» he explains in the trailer released Monday, in which he alludes to the «suffering» of «women who marry this institution,» in apparent reference to both his wife and his mother, Princess Diana.
«It’s all about hate, it’s all about race,» says the second son of King Charles III, who had already denounced in the past that his wife had been a victim of racism from other members of the Royal Household whom he never publicly pointed out.
The documentary will be released in two parts – on December 8 and 15 – and is expected to be the first family scandal of the new era of Charles III, who assumed the throne on September 8 after the death of his mother, Elizabeth II.
