Argentina’s government declares national holiday to celebrate the World Cup

Argentina’s president, Alberto Fernandez, has decreed a national holiday on Tuesday, December 20, to welcome the Albiceleste national team and celebrate its victory in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Executive, who has taken this decision through a Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU), has excluded from the rule the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) and banks, which will work until 12.00 (local time).
