Three women and a seven-year-old girl have been shot and wounded after being shot outside a church where a funeral was being held in central London.
The Metropolitan Police have reported that they received the first report of the incident from Phoenix Street at 1.30pm. The victims are aged 54, 48, 41 and 7, Sky News quoted a police source as saying.
The 48-year-old woman has a potentially life-threatening injury, but the other two women have non-life-threatening injuries. The girl has been hospitalized and no information about her prognosis has been released at this time.
Police believe the shots came from a moving vehicle that fled the scene and have opened an «urgent investigation» to clarify what happened.
