Mexican authorities have indicated that at least ten bodies have been found in several dozen bags containing human remains that were found in a warehouse in Tenango del Valle, about 70 kilometers from Mexico City.
«So far in the bags that have been found it is estimated that there are 10 bodies in 42 bags,» explained the head of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena), Luis Crecencio Sandoval, as reported by the newspaper ‘El Universal’.
The discovery of the remains, in sacks buried under the floor of an event hall, occurred at the end of last week following the arrest of nine alleged members of the Jalisco Cartel – New Generation.
«In Tenancingo — 25 kilometers from Tenango del Valle — there were four people arrested who belong to the Jalisco Cartel – New Generation on January 10, drugs were seized and they gave the information about the location of the human remains,» explained Crecencio.
