At least seven people have been injured in a multiple stabbing inside a train traveling from the northern German city of Kiel to the city of Hamburg, according to police sources.
The suspect began attacking passengers shortly before the train arrived at Brokstedt station, where security forces proceeded to arrest the alleged assailant. Authorities have proceeded to close the facility.
Police have not disclosed the possible motives for the attack, nor the identity or circumstances of the detainee.
