Ukrainian authorities on Monday denounced the death of two civilians in a «massive» Russian attack on the city of Kherson, in which five other people were also wounded.
According to the governor of Kherson, Yaroslav Yanushevich, members of the emergency services, medical and Red Cross personnel are on their way to the town of Ostriv.
Yanushevich confirmed on his official Telegram channel that, at the moment, Ukrainian authorities are not in a position to confirm an exact number of victims, and recommended the population to take refuge in shelters.
The governor had earlier confirmed that the Russian attack on a residential sector of the city had hit a house and damaged power supply lines, Ukrinform Ukrainian news agency reported.
