Ukrainian authorities on Monday denounced the death of at least three civilians in a series of Russian attacks on several points in the city of Kherson, in which eight other people were also wounded.
At first, regional authorities confirmed two dead and five wounded in a small district of Kherson, where damage to energy supplies was also confirmed. The authorities have advised the population to take refuge in shelters.
The governor of Kherson has confirmed on his official Telegram channel that the Ukrainian authorities are not in a position to confirm an exact number of victims, as reported by Ukrinform Ukrainian news agency.
Hours later, the governor of Kherson, Yaroslav Yanushevich, confirmed another «targeted» shelling of the residential area of Tavriski, where one person was killed and three wounded. Damage to the gas pipeline system was also reported there.
