Heavy snowfall in Japan continued Wednesday in what is the most severe cold snap of the season, causing transportation problems and traffic accidents.
One man has died in Fukuoka Prefecture as a result of the storm, while authorities are investigating the relationship with the storm of other deaths.
Several train lines have had their schedules disrupted due to snow and high winds, while Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways have said they plan to cancel more than 200 flights.
