Authorities in Mexico have found the bodies of three women inside a home in Hacienda de las Torres Universidad, located south of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
According to the Mexican news agency Reforma, the authorities proceeded to search the house after several neighbors in the area reported the presence of strange smells coming from the house.
The police moved to the place where they found the door of the residence open and the bodies of the three victims, who have not yet been identified.
The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Attention to Women Victims of Gender and Family Crimes of Mexico will now be in charge of initiating the investigation and clarifying the motives of the incident.
As reported by Reforma, a surveillance operation has been deployed in the town with the participation of the Mexican Army, state and municipal police, as well as investigators.
