Japanese industrial corporation Mitsubishi posted between April and December 2022 (first three quarters of fiscal year 2022-2023) an attributable net profit of 955,759 million yen (6,733 million euros), which translates into a 48.2 percent improvement over the profit of 644,768 million yen (4,542 million euros) in 2021 thanks to the good performance of the mineral extractive and automotive division.
As for revenue, it reached 16.29 trillion yen (€114,757 million), up 31.7 percent compared with revenue of 12.37 trillion yen (€87,142 million) in the previous year.
On the other hand, the multinational reported an increase in production costs and selling, general and administrative expenses of 30.2 percent to 15.54 trillion yen (109,526 million euros).
By the end of what the Japanese company considers the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 on March 31, 2023, Mitsubishi will have posted a net profit of 1.15 trillion yen (8.105 billion euros), a 12 percent increase over the previous estimate due to good business performance.
