Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky arrived tonight at the Elysee Palace in Paris for a three-way meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Zelenski, who landed at Paris Orly Airport at around 9.45 p.m., was first received by the French Minister of Defense, Sebastien Lecornu. He was then driven by a motorcade to the Elysée Palace, where he will have dinner with the French and German leaders.
Already at the headquarters of the French Presidency, Macron received the Ukrainian head of state and then Scholz came out of the palace to pose with both leaders in a historic photo that certifies Zelenski’s visit to the second European capital in one day, after London.
The Ukrainian president visited London on Thursday, where he met not only with the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, but also with King Charles III. This small European tour of Zelenski comes in the framework of his more than likely participation in the summit of the European Union on Thursday.
