Ukrainian National Police chief Igor Klimenko estimates that at least 32 people have been killed in Kherson in eastern Ukraine by Russian air strikes since the withdrawal of Moscow forces on November 9.

Among the attacks he highlighted those that occurred on November 24, when at least seven people were killed, according to his estimates, and 21 others were wounded, he has made known on his Telegram account.

Also, Klimenko has reported that Ukrainian demining forces have cleared at least 450 hectares of land from the region, and removed 3,500 explosives.

On the other hand, Ukrainian authorities have reported at least 13 wounded in new Russian missile attacks in Dnipro, of whom are hospitalized, according to the Ukrainian military governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Valentin Reznichenko, on his Telegram channel.

More victims are suspected under the rubble of residential buildings, seven of which were damaged in the attack.

In addition to Dnipro, the small town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine was also attacked on Saturday. In the town, which is under Ukrainian control, an apartment building was attacked, injuring three people, according to the region’s military governor, Pavlo Kirilenko.

In other developments, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged nine Russian and 12 Ukrainian prisoners of war in recent hours, both sides have confirmed. Among the released servicemen are fighters from Mariupol, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andrei Yermak, has reported.

The releases from the Russian side have been confirmed by the Defense Ministry in a statement carried by the Russian agency TASS.
