News in the separation of Shakira and Piqué. Three weeks after reaching an agreement after an agonizing negotiation that lasted 12 hours and in which they agreed that the singer will leave Barcelona and move to Miami with their children Milan and Sasha, the former couple must ratify the agreement on the custody of the children on December 1.
As advanced by ‘La Vanguardia’, the two are summoned this Thursday at 9:30 am in the Court of First Instance and Family No. 18 of Barcelona to ratify the agreement. An ‘appointment’ that will be a new face to face between the artist and the ex-footballer and that could be their last meeting before the Colombian moves to the United States, and the first after the famous ‘comb’ that Shakira dedicated to her ex in their recent reunion at a baseball game in Milan, in which the tension between the two was more than evident.
After the signature of Gerard and the singer of ‘Monotony’ before the judge, the agreement will be ratified in Spain and the next step will be to validate it in Miami, which in the coming weeks – although the exact time is unknown – will become the new home of the little ones. Those close to the ex-couple assure that they are in a tug of war over the date of the move, since while Shakira wants to leave Barcelona on January 1st, Piqué insists that the children spend the whole holiday period here with his family.
An agreement of which we will not know the details, because as published by ‘La Vanguardia’, being such a media separation of two people so well known, unusual measures have been taken in the court to preserve discretion and both the separation lawsuit and the regulatory agreement of the children will be encrypted and only the judge, the lawyer of the Administration of Justice and the Public Prosecutor’s Office will have access to the file.
