At least eight people were injured Monday when a shooting occurred at a Martin Luther King Day celebration in Fort Pierce, Florida.
One of the victims has been critically injured, while four other people do not have gunshot wounds, but were injured while attempting to leave the area, local authorities said.
The shooting took place late Monday night at Ilous Ellis Park, where the community was celebrating various Martin Luther King Day activities, including live music, a car show and a children’s playground.
