France and Austalia have announced an agreement to jointly supply Ukraine with 155-millimeter artillery shells to supply Ukrainian howitzers.
«France and Australia have expressed their common commitment to the security of Ukraine and their decision to continue to support Ukraine,» the two countries said in a joint statement.
«The ministers have announced their intention to provide support to Ukraine also with the supply of 155-millimeter ammunition» in view of Kiev’s «urgent need» for this type of shells.
France and Australia have further stressed their «unequivocal condemnation of Russia’s illegal, immoral and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine» and have demanded the «immediate withdrawal» of Russian forces.
