Ukrainian authorities on Tuesday accused the Russian Army of carrying out air strikes on several medical facilities and residential buildings in the southern Ukrainian city of Mikolaiv, where at least four people have been injured.
The mayor of the town, Oleksander Senkevich, said on his Telegram account that Russian rockets hit several health infrastructures during the morning. «Mikolaiv has again fallen victim to massive shelling. Several rockets have hit two facilities and several buildings,» he has explained.
He also confirmed that several civilians have been wounded and clarified that emergency teams are working in the area.
In early July, about a dozen civilians were killed in a missile attack by Russian troops on a residential building. Senkevich said at the time that the Russian army had launched dozens of missiles against the town, although the building was hit by an X-55 cruise missile.
