Dnipro authorities have warned that the Russian Armed Forces have carried out a new attack on the city, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region of eastern Ukraine, on Saturday.
According to the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, preliminary data suggest that the energy and communications infrastructure has not been affected, as has been the case in most of the latest Russian offensives.
«We are waiting for details of the shelling and information on casualties from the military administration,» Filatov added on his Telegram channel, UNIAN news agency reported.
For his part, the governor of Dnipropetrovsk, Valentin Reznichenko, confirmed the attacks on Dnipro, and said that seven houses were affected by an explosion, which also caused a fire.
