The Minister of the Interior of Argentina, Eduardo de Pedro, has criticized this Thursday the «deterioration» of the Judiciary, due to the alleged collusion of members of the Judiciary with former President Mauricio Macri.
«We have a diagnosis that has to do with a state of deterioration of the Judiciary. We have been warning about it since Macri’s famous decree that appointed two judges of the Court in commission. We are concerned about the state of a sector of the Judiciary», said the Minister.
The Minister of the Interior, known as ‘Wado’, referred to this in an interview in the Argentine media in which he assured that the trial against the country’s vice-president, Cristina Fernández, for an alleged corruption scheme has «a sentence that has been written for a long time».
«(Kirchner) is being judged by prosecutors and judges who played soccer in Macri’s country house», he has declared, referring to the verdict of the court for the so-called ‘Vialidad case’ that will be known next Tuesday.
Thus, Wado has insisted on the concern generated by the state of judicial sectors due to the participation of the former president. «We are concerned and a great part of society is concerned about the state in which a part of the Judiciary is. When he was councilor of the Judiciary, Macri transferred an entire court to the justice of Buenos Aires. They did barbarities. Everyone knows that the case is half a farce», he assured.
The Vice-President stated earlier this week that the court trying her for the ‘Vialidad case’ is actually «a firing squad», which seeks to «stigmatize» her Government and try to overshadow the «achievements» obtained, allegedly with «lies» that she herself has tried to expose both in court and in social networks.
